Effective October 22, 2026. This policy covers the TeachClimbing iPhone app.
Your onboarding answers, lessons you mark complete, climbing sessions you log, glossary favorites and checklist state are stored on your device only. The app has no accounts and no server of its own; nothing you enter is uploaded to us.
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
If you turn on reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device for your chosen gym days and, during a free trial, one reminder before the trial ends. No notification data leaves your device.
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs and does not use the advertising identifier.
The app does not read or write Apple Health data.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Use Profile › Reset all progress, or delete the app. Both remove everything the app stored.

Climbing and belaying are dangerous. The app is an instructional supplement and does not replace in-person instruction, your gym's rules, or your gym's belay test.
